The Good Natured (Sarah McIntosh, her brother Hamish McIntosh on bass, and George Hinton on drums) are certainly one of the best electro-pop bands to emerge this year. Their intoxicating, addictive and perfectly crafted pop-noir anthems have made them a stand-out act amid the masses and are quickly becoming favorites and rising stars among bloggers and electro-pop music fans alike.
Fronted by the captivating 20-year old singer and brilliant songwriter Sarah McIntosh, The Good Natured thrives on sexually charged lyrics with melodic synth filled pop songs over Sarah’s soaring vocals.
The band’s single and video “Skeleton,” taken from the Skeleton EP (recently released in the U.S. via Astralwerks ) is a prime illustration of Sarah’s expressive and darkly sexual metaphorical songwriting. “Skeleton”, along with other tracks on the EP, was produced by Swedish studio wizard Patrik Berger; known for his work with Robyn.
The band is embarking on their first U.S. tour where they will be performing established favorites, plus songs from their debut album slated to drop in Spring 2012. Their live show is a MUST see for me and is one you certainly cannot miss!
Grab some great remixes of “Skeleton” and “Wolves” below and be sure to pick up the Skeleton – EP for more amazing tracks!
