After several years of waiting the guys of BLAQK AUDIO are finally back!

If you are not familiar with BLAQK AUDIO then you better get acquainted now! BLAQK AUDIO is the electro-dance outfit and side project of Davey Havok and Jade Puget of punk-rock super group, AFI. Their debut album, CexCells released in 2007 derived inspiration from electro-industrial acts of the 80′s like Skinny Puppy and my all time favorite, Depeche Mode.

CexCells included the incredible dark-pop tracks “Stiff Kittens,” Where Would You Like Them Left?,” and the electro-goth dance numbers “On a Friday” and “Snuff on Digital.”

Their upcoming sophomore album, Bright Black Heaven, is slated to be released September 11th on Big Death Records and promises to continue the journey where CexCells left off.

BLAQK AUDIO has chosen to give their fans a taste of Bright Black Heaven by releasing a free download of “Bliss,” the darkest track on the album, showcasing Havok‘s haunting vocals alongside Jade‘s powerful production, creating an industrial track laced with symphonic drama. The new album includes mixing by Dave Bascombe (Depeche Mode and Erasure), Lars Stalfors (The Mars Volta), and Michael Patterson (Trent Reznor)
