Fergie has been keeping us “hungry” for new music for several years now ever since she disappeared from the spotlight approximately 10-years ago(!). In 2006 she dropped her very successful debut, The Dutchess, which produced 5 top five singles in the U.S. (remember “Fergalicious“, “Big Girls Don’t Cry“, and “Glamorous“?!); and although she made a brief appearance in 2014 with the single “L.A.LOVE (la la) ft. YG “ (a track we’ve chosen to forget) we have been missing her brand of feisty-pop ever since!
Well, today, the dutchess herself released a sleek, black-and-white video teaser for a very promising new track call “Hungry (1st Byte)”. The teaser is about a minute-long with Fergie boasting a few verses over dark, booming beat: “To say it’s complicated, understatement of the year/ Well maybe conflict made it the new flavor in your ear/ They know that I’m a problem, that’s why everybody scared/ Whatever doesn’t kill you, can make you an ill-ionaire”
Check it out!
Are you excited for Fergie’s return?!
