Daft Punk have taken eight years to release their fourth studio album Random Access Memories, and the French duo have “got lucky” with their early reviews as critics are praising the album giving it four stars or more. The duo just happen to be one of our favorite artists so, to celebrate the robots return to music, we are giving away a 12″ Vinyl and two CD’s of RANDOM ACCESS MEMORIES.

One lucky winner will receive a 12″ Vinyl of Daft Punk’s RANDOM ACCESS MEMORIES. And TWO runner-ups will receive a CD copy of the album. The 12″ Vinyl and each CD comes with a Limited Edition Daft Punk paper mask!

With her shimmering first single, “Somebody Loves You” the Australia-born Betty Who charmingly captured our attention, and now with the aptly titled, “You’re In Love” taken from the brilliant debut EP The Movement, the talented songstress has managed to steal our hearts.

The video for the lush and dreamy new single follows Betty Who and her mighty dapper beau happily driving and walking around the streets of NYC after what I can only guess is some unseen argument or event? This, of course, is what New York does to people. There is no scandal that can’t be solved by the romantic powers of the city streets, parks, lights and skyline when you’re in love.

If you follow this blog frequently than you already know that I’m obsessed with LA-based electronic singer-songwriter, BANKS aka your-next-favorite-artist. Love her music, voice and mysterious seductive vibe.  

Her latest offering, ‘Warm Water’ is a blissful down-tempo track produced by UK electronic pop prodigy Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs(TEED). The collabo is an odd but very welcome surprise. ‘Warm Water’ is a more subtle and spacious affair than the singer’s previous tunes and a great departure for TEED’s typical arena-size dance productions. The song has a groovy, Marvin Gaye “Sexual Healing” kinda vibe that feels effortless and tender. The kind of song you and your loved-one can enjoy during or after sex…while smoking a cigarette or during a warm sweaty embrace. Take a listen.

Here’s Emika’s brand new video for the entrancing, sexually charged and simply incredible, “She Beats” taken from her upcoming sophomore album, DVA. The video is directed by Matt Lambert and features Stephanie Ballantine.

There is comment for this video by someone on Emika’s YouTube channel that perfectly depicts what I feel and I’m sure what other fans like myself feel about Emika’s dark, magnetic, spellbinding sound. The comment reads:

“exploding sensuality… i wonder why this girl doesnt just label herself as a sonic drug”

That sentence defines EVERYTHING! So, from now on, I’ll be referring to Emika as the ‘sonic drug’.

This is the second post we have for MØ (aka Karen Marie Ørsted) this week! The Danish singer has just released another catchy and majestic track called, “Waste of Time.”

The track is another slice of electro-pop greatness that feels and sounds like an indie-song, but in reality, is a fiery banger at heart.

MØ recently signed to label RCA Victor/Chess Club and is in the process of readying her debut. And If this track is any indications of things to come, I think we’re all going to be very happy when MØ‘s debut album drops!

I had the pleasure of seeing Australia’s Alpine perform their new single, “Gasoline” live in Brooklyn a few months back when the band was on their way to rock the stages of the SXSW Music Festival in Austin. And if you follow my Instagram (@nuwavepony) you’ll probably noticed that I’ve met and had a brief chat with the lovely Phoebe after the show. She is probably one of the nicest person I’ve ever met! Both, Phoebe Baker and Lou James have an incredible presence on-stage that can easily seduce and energize an audience.

The sparkly and shimmery “Gasoline” sounds as sweet LIVE as it does in studio form.  Below is the newly released official video for the catchy tune. Check it out!

UK’s electro-pop-rock quartet, Fenech-Soler have unleashed the official video for the addictive, indie-tinged, euphoric, soon to be summer hit, “Magnetic.”

The electric new tune is taken form the bands, upcoming sophomore album “Rituals”, which arrives in September.

We introduced you to the ever-so-hypnotic, MØ (aka Karen Marie Ørsted) a few months back via her lush symphonic track, “Glass” and the island tinged debut, “Pilgrim.” 

MØ has enlisted New York duo MS MR to add a little dark-magic to her debut track. The haunting remix of “Pilgrim” arrives with an accompanying video featuring the singer slow-dancing to the newly gloomy vibe of the chorus, behind a backdrop of green lasers and lingering statues.

MØ recently signed to Sony and she’s in the process of recording her debut album with Danish producer, Ronni Vindahl. She is also collaborating with none-other then, Diplo! Hopefully, for more than just one track.

Hailing from Sydney, 22-year-old electronic-pop producer, Elizabeth Rose has a knack for producing richly textured, highly addictive, electronic dance tunes.

Rose burst onto the scene back in 2012 with her debut single ‘Ready.’ The track is a blissful, infectious pop song layered in astral beats and loops that showcase her talent for making rich and melodic dance songs.

Rose recently teamed-up with UK producer Sinden for the new single, ‘Again.’ The fantastic collaboration is a boombastic treat of 808 key arrangements and club ready beats over Rose’s sweet dreamy vocals. (I’m kinda obsessed with this tune right now)
