Alpines Returns With “Completely” [Official Video]

It’s been a hot minute since we last heard of London-based duo Alpines. Back in 2014 they released their majestic debut, Oasis —a dance record we absolutely adored! — which deservedly, received a spot on our list of best albums of 2014. Well, the duo — comprised of vocalist Catherine Pockson and producer Bob Matthews — are back with another superbly beautiful electro-ballad called “Completely”.

Compare to the more dance-leaning efforts of Oasis; “Completely” is more on the minimalist side….but the starkly subtle production entwining with Pockson’s gorgeous lingering vocals will instantly grab a hold of all of your emotions. We are COMPLETELY hooked!

Check it out!

“Completely” is out now.

Alpines – Empire [New Single]

Following the release of the well received Night Drive EP, UK’s Alpines returns with the brand new single “Empire.” The song’s incredible tribal drums and synth work have the same ethereal vibe as some of Florence and The Machine’s best work—but it’s Catherine Pockson‘s ethereal vocals that shine brightly here. Simply superb!

Take a listen.

“Empire” arrives on June 11 packed with remixes by Maribou State, Tessela and CREEP.
