The talented Swedish ladies of electro-pop act Icona Pop (Aino Jawo and Caroline Hjelt)  have unleashed an epic electronic Odyssey entitled “Ready For The Weekend.”  The duo have been touring and DJing all of over Europe and the US lately so its no surprise their latest track sounds like a mixture of studio work and their live set.

“Ready For The Weekend” takes Icona Pop to dubstep territory– but the track contains enough vocal touches to remain grounded in their own glorious pop territory.

The track is available via Beatport today, and will also be included along with their breakout hit “I Love It” on their forthcoming, The Iconic EP. Out October 16.
