The magical pairing of Joe and Jessie came together as a result of a BACARDI funded mentoring scheme called BACARDI Beginnings which sees established artists mentor the best up-and-coming music talent and showcase their sound to wider audiences.  Each is given a £10,000 bursary to spend on the career of an upcoming musical act of their choice. How incredible is that?!

Joe Goddard chose to mentor Jessie Ware, Friendly Fires picked electro-pop-R&B duo, Aluna George and Mylo selected upcoming songstress, and one of our favorite new artists, Ronika!

The project launched earlier this year to mark BACARDI’s 150^th birthday and as part of the brand’s ongoing commitment to support new musical talent.

What an amazing musical project! I’m dying to hear what ALL these incredible talent comes up with!
