RAC ft. Liz Anjos – “Climbing Up The Walls” [Radiohead Cover]

I still can’t get over how incredible RAC‘s remix of Pacific Air’s “Float” is!  Reworking the vocals and music was a huge risk…but the pay-off was enormous! The track is simply stunning. If you haven’t had the chance to listen to the “Float” remix I suggest you do so and download a copy now. (here)

Well, the remix collective known as RAC, specifically, Andre Anjos is back; and he brought his wife, Liz Anjos for another daring move: a cover of Radiohead‘s “Climbing Up The Walls” (a track from the classic, OK COMPUTER) and the the result is: haunting, alluring, head-exploding and insanely good.

Charli XCX – “Cloud Aura” ft. Brooke Candy [New Video]

Watch Charli XCX‘s brand new video for “Cloud Aura” the opening track of her latest mixtape Super Ultra.

The Ryan Andrews directed video features sword-wielding, bad-ass chic, Brooke Candy from the Grimes’ “Genesis” video. The grainy video is a crying fest of debutantes and reality TV “personalities”

Charli previously tested her rhyming skills in the remix video for “You’re The One” (here) What do you guys think of Ms. XCX’s verbal skills on this track?!

BAYOU – “Cherry Cola”

I love discovering new talent. As a blogger, I receive a lot of emails of new artist and music; some have a lot of potential but very few are ready for the spotlight. London based mystery act, BAYOU seems to be there already. The hazy and gloomy nostalgic track “Cherry Cola” combines elements of R&B and dreamy electronica with vocals that fall somewhere in between The Weeknd and Hot Chip. The artistry on this debut track is so brilliantly executed that it feels familiar yet surprisingly fresh. I love, love, love everything about this song.

Now, I’m a huge fanatic of film director Wong Kar-Wai, I’ve seen every single one of his movies. The video for “Cherry Cola” appears to take cues from one of his love-is-imposible kinda films. This makes “Cherry Cola” a much more special song.

Download the track at Bayou’s tumblr page HERE.

What do you guys thinks of the song?! Let me know your thoughts?!!

This track is pure house love. It’s a massive jam, so play it LOUD!

Karin Park – “Wild Child” [Official Video]

My past is like an apple tree, Does he ever wanna taste it? Ever since he came here through my bedroom door, I’ve been a wild child.

I’ve been obsessed with Karin Park ever since i got a hold of her Tiger Dreams EP back in 2011…but I’ve never got the chance to introduce her on the blog.

The Swedish electro-goth-pop singer recently released the video for the incredible,“Wild Child,” a highlight of many from the incredible album, Highwire Poetry. The record, released this year, was influenced by her strict religious upbringing in a remote Swedish town and the three years she spent in a Japanese missionary school. Highwire Poetry contains productions by Fever Ray and The Knife producer, Christoffer Berg.

If you’re new to Karin Park I urge you to seek out this record! Highwire Poetry is one of the best releases of the year! Below are some highlights from the record.

PS. Does anyone else thinks that “Tiger Dreams” could be a perfect B-Side or a sequel to Bjork‘s “Hunter”?
